A FUN summer festival is being planned for Dursley.
Volunteers are already working on plans for the event, which will be taking place in Parsonage Street on Saturday, July 13.
One of the organisers, deputy mayor Cllr Mandy Woodward said: “There’s lots to do and we’d love more people to get involved and help set things up.”
The festival has a 1940s and 1950s theme, and everyone is invited to dress up in clothes from those eras.
Entertainment on the day will include a classic car parade, a shop window competition, a kids’ trail, pony rides, morris dancers, stalls, splat the rat, face painting, and music from the Rednock Swing Band.
