FORMER Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant is set to perform in Stroud this coming week.
The 70-year-old rock legend will be playing at the Goods Shed, next to Stroud station, with his band Saving Grace on Wednesday, May 22.
The singer has been gigging with the new ensemble this year, starting off with a few surprise slots as a support act for veteran folk-rockers Fairport Convention.
Saving Grace works as a co-operative, and features Robert Plant and Suzi Dian on vocals, Oli Jefferson - percussion, Tony Kelsey – mandolin, baritone and acoustic guitars and Matt Worley – banjo, acoustic and baritone guitars, and cuatro.
They will be playing an eclectic mix of folky-bluesy-jazzy sounds from 7.30pm on Wednesday.
