Johann Sebastian Bach
The 'Best of Bach' will be performed at a charity concert being held in Thornbury and Alveston.
Chorales from Bach Cantatas, including Cantata Number 140 ‘Wachet Auf’ known as ‘Sleepers Wake’ will be performed by The Alveston Singers.
Admission is free but there will be retiring collections for the group's chosen charities for 2019: Brain Tumour Support and Made a Mark.
The Thornbury concert will be held on Saturday at St Mary's Church. There will also be a concert on Tuesday at Alveston Methodist Church.
Both will begin at 7.30pm.
