The Barn Theatre is searching for its next star.
The theatre in Cirencester is to hold open auditions this weekend for its two summer project shows Grease (aged 13+) and Annie (For junior academy members aged 7-13).
Auditions for both shows will take place at Ingleside House, Cirencester.
A spokesman for the Barn Theatre explained how the auditions will be carried out.
"There will be an hour and a half workshop during which the auditionees will have a chance to show off their skills together with learning a dance routine, some ensemble singing and some dialogue work in small groups.
"Following the workshop those who wish to be considered for a main role will have the opportunity to perform a solo to the audition panel.
"This should either be a song from the show or something in a similar style.
"They will need to bring either sheet music or a backing track."
Auditions are open to academy and non-academy students.
Auditions for Annie are on Saturday, May 11, from 10am to 1pm.
Auditions for Grease are on Sunday, May 12, from 12pm to 5pm.
