A history association has been given £2,000 thanks to support from shoppers in Cirencester.
Customers gave their backing to The Living Memory Historical Association, based in Cirencester, by voting for them in the Bags of Help scheme at the Tesco Superstore in Farrell Close, using blue tokens given at the checkouts.
Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch the community funding project, with grants raised from carrier bag sales.
Tesco store manager Shane Uzzell and community champion Debbie Walton handed the cheque to Peter Grace and Bill Irving, both from the association on Saturday, May 4.
A spokesmen for the association said: "We would like to thank everyone who supported us in the 'Tesco Bags of Help scheme'.
"We received the second prize of £2,000 which will be very helpful."
