Police say they have received more than 120 calls following the launch of a national appeal to identify a man whose remains were found close to a main road near Cirencester.
At the start of April, Gloucestershire Police launched a national appeal after failing to identify a body discovered in May last year.
The remains were discovered by a forestry worker near the Bathurst Estate in Cirencester, close to the A419 Stroud Road.
A Gloucestershire police spokesman said: "We estimate that we have now received over 120 calls from members of the public with suggestions of possible identities since launching our appeal earlier this month (10 April).
"We anticipate that these reports will continue to arrive and we will therefore be evaluating each suggestion in due course.
"We would like to thank everyone who has contacted us so far and ask anyone who believes they have relevant information that hasn’t yet spoken to us to call 101 quoting Operation Octave."
If you can help identify this man, you can submit information online at gloucestershire.police.uk/operationoctave, email Op.Octave@gloucestershire.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting Operation Octave.
