Churches in Tetbury organised a Good Friday Walk of Witness over the Easter Weekend.
The walk attracted a large turnout on Friday, April 19 and was organised by Tetbury Area Churches Together, which encompasses all the churches in Tetbury.
On a glorious sunny day, the walk started at St Mary’s Primary School.
From there, the walk passed through St Saviours Church, St Mary’s Church, and the Post Office before finishing at Christ Church where tea, coffee, and hot cross buns were made available.
At each stopping point, a piece of Good Friday service was shared and a moment of reflection took place.
Members of the walk took it in turns to carry the symbolic cross from station to station symbolising and remembering the true meaning of Easter.
