Cotswold baker Aggy Dadan is to be part of a new Channel4 series titled Extreme Chocolate Makers.

Dadan, from Edible by Aggy, will show how her chocolate creations are made from idea to delivery.

Aggy, from Cirencester, who is renowned for her sculpting talents and A list celebrity clientele has been busy this year creating her bespoke master pieces for her exclusive clients.

Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard:

Channel4 approached Aggy late last year with the idea of this program and after only a couple of days they were in contact again confirming the show has been signed off and the work began.

“The new TV show shows just how much planning, prep and work goes into creating bespoke chocolate master pieces, from the design stage to developing new and exciting flavours to the finished piece," Aggy said.

"It’s a lot of hard work but really good fun especially testing new flavours”.

Since starting her business seven years ago she has gone from strength to strength creating bigger and more elaborate edible centre pieces out of the finest ingredients and luxury French chocolate.

Aggy said: ”It’s been such an amazing seven years but the last 12 months since I have made R2D2 for Radio X DJ Chris Moyles have been pretty crazy, I’ve been trying to push the boundaries of what’s possible with chocolate while creating new and exciting tastes and ideas”.

Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard:

Some of her recent work has included an exclusive chocolate selection for Fred Sirieix, an edible map for the Croatian embassy in London and a YouTube baking tutorial with Deadpool himself.

“I have to say my all-time favourite piece was a sculpture of Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard:

"It was made from Guinness and Whiskey cake and I got to present it to him and Warner Bros at his hotel room after the Aquaman premier in November last year.”

The cake was auctioned for charity raising over £550 for Water is Life, an environmental charity close to Aggy’s and Jason’s heart.

Outside the TV show, Aggy is secretly working on some ideas and new recipes that will put her sweet creations from cakes and chocolates out there on a much bigger scale.

The show airs Easter Sunday, April 21 at 6pm on Channel4 and continues on the following weeks at 5.30pm.
