Country lovers of all ages from the VWH Hunt took part in a litter pick, as part of the Great Spring Clean.

Members of the hunt volunteered to pull on high vis jackets on Saturday, April 6, to clear up the lanes between Purton and Braydon Parish.

By the end of the weekend, they had filled more than 20 black bin bags and several dustbins rom the roadside verges and ceremoniously taken to Purton Tip.

A VWH Hunt spokesperson said: “We really appreciate our wonderful Wiltshire countryside and it was a pleasure to be able to play a small part in keeping it looking its best.”
