Dear Editor
I agree with much of what Royston Gay says about a new leader for Parliament but I take exception to his comment “…. too many with little more than the calibre of a parochial Parish or Town Councillor ….”. (letters Wilts and Glos March 30).
In my 28 years of experience Parish and Town Councillors are much better than that and we certainly would not behave in such a loutish way to colleagues whether we agreed with them or not!
