Dear Editor
Following the article by John Light (Wilts and Glos Standard, March 21) here is another memory of The Gaumont in Cirencester in the 1950’s.
When the film Dambusters was shown, as air cadets of 1245 Cirencester Squadron, we lined both sides of the entrance steps as the doors opened, when the film started we were then to go in and stand at the back to see the film.
A great film and music score a tribute to the true heroes of Bomber Command.
