More than £3,000 has been raised for The Church Project through a fundraiser.
The Corin Group in Cirencester raised £3,087 for the charity in just one day through their Big Dress Down event.
Staff raised money by dressing down, baking cakes to sell, holding a raffle and hosting an auction.
Corin’s charity committee selected The Churn Project on the suggestion of the committee’s chairman Dave Fletcher, whose late mother had benefited from the charity’s good neighbour service which provides volunteer visitors to older people living alone.
Liz Folkes, who manages Churn good neighbours, said: “We were overwhelmed with the amount raised by the Corin team and very touched to know that our support had meant so much to Dave’s family.”
Michelle Bradburn and Ailsa O’Connor from The Churn visited Corin to receive the cheque and judge one of the regular fundraising bake-offs!
