A Cirencester man has been jailed after assaulting two victims in a drunken gang attack.
Tyler Townsend, 22, of Berry Hill Crescent, Cirencester, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court to assaulting two men believed to be from the Stroud area in Cheltenham on July 7, 2017.
He also pleaded guilty to causing one of the men actual bodily harm.
At court on Wednesday, March 13, magistrates jailed him for 12 weeks because “the offence was so serious, a group action, and was alcohol-fuelled."
Townsend was also ordered to pay his victims a total of £1,200 in compensation.
