The whole of a primary school near Dursley climbed Cam Peak this morning to create a giant red nose in aid of Comic Relief.

All 208 pupils at Cam Everlands Primary school took part, along with staff and parent volunteers.

They walked for an hour from the school to the top of the hill. All wearing red, when they gathered together at the top it created an image of the iconic red nose.

Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard:

Headteacher Susan Avis said she was very proud of everyone.

"We can see Cam Peak from our playground so it was nice to take the children out there.

"They did really well and there was no complaining, just a fun atmosphere," she said.

More than £1,500 has been raised for Comic Relief so far.
