Thieves targeted a number of work vans and cars during an overnight crime spree.
The spate of break-ins happened overnight on Tuesday, March 12 in Rye Close, Bourton-on-the-Water and De Havilland Road, Upper Rissington.
Police say they received a number of reports of vehicle break-ins with thieves targeting work tools.
A police spokesperson said: "We have collected two empty tool cases that were found in Rye Close.
"These are a green Makita Tool Case and a Bosch Tool Case.
"Due to being left outside police have been unable to take any finger prints from the items.
"They have been taken to Stow police station for safe keeping.
"If these belong to anyone please call 101 to be put through to Stow Police Station to collect them."
Anyone who has seen any suspicious vehicles or people are asked to call police on 101 and quote reference number 57 of March 13.
Police are also residents to check their vehicles in these areas as calls are still currently coming in.
