Reports are coming in of a number of emergency crews in attendance at the scene of a serious crash on the M4
Drivers are being warned to approach a stretch of the M4 with care as emergency services deal with a crash.
Police, ambulance and fire crews from several stations are at the scene of the crash which reported to have happened on the westbound carriageway between junction 16 A3102 Swindon Road (Swindon West) and junction 17, A350 (Chippenham).
The vehicles involved have now been moved to the hard shoulder and all lanes have re-opened but some congestion may remain.
