A huge fallen tree has closed a road in Cirencester this afternoon.
The tree has fallen on to the road in Cutham Lane in Bagendon.
It has completely blocked the road to Woodmancote.
Gloucestershire County Councillor Paul Hodgkinson shared the photo to warn people, he said: "Large tree has just come down in high winds at Cutham Lane, Bagendon north of Cirencester.
"Road blocked to Woodmancote. Needs urgent attention."
A Highways England team has been dispatched to assess the damage and clear the scene.
A spokesperson for GCC said: "We received a call earlier today reporting a fallen tree, blocking Cutham Lane, Cirencester.
"A crew are on their way to remove it. We will update you once the road has been cleared."
