SINCE the first phase of the renovations to the Palmer Hall was completed just before Christmas, it seems to have gone quiet. But no! Work has now started on the male and female toilets, the entrance hall and the main hall.

It is expected that this work will be completed by the end of March. During this time, disruption will be kept to a minimum and existing users should note that there are currently no plans to close the Hall. It also seems to have gone quiet on the GoFundMe page raising money for the much-needed total renovation to the Palmer Hall.

Although, the Palmer Hall Committee has enough money to complete the next phase of refurbishment, funding is still required to introduce new black-out blinds to all the windows in the main hall and new stage curtains with a motorised rail to make opening and closing of the curtains much easier. If you have not yet donated to the Palmer Hall cause, would you please consider doing so at gofundme.com/the-palmer-hall.
