A Macmillan cancer fundraiser held in Lechlade raised £650, Margaret Hing writes.
Money raised at the quiz topped last year's total of £500, bringing the three year total for charity to £1,600.
Taking place on Friday, February 22, at the New Inn, Lechlade, the quiz was a huge success.
A sell-out, the quiz had 74 competitors battling it out, with the winners Done and Dusted scoring 92 out of 100.
A raffle helped to bring in further funds, with prizes donated by The New Inn, Lynwoods Cafe, Veras Cafe, All About Flowers, The Co-op Garage and The Lechlade Music Festival.
Organiser Keith Fuller said: "My thanks to The New Inn (venue) and the Post Office (tickets), and Sharon and Anne on the night for supporting me."
