CHILDREN as young as 10 will have a chance to experience driving on a motorway at up to 70mph on a full-sized motorway in Moreton-in-Marsh, which is usually used to train drivers for the emergency services.
Pre-17 driving school Young Driver, will offer a motorway driving experience to young drivers aged 10-17 at the Fire Service Training College in Moreton-In-Marsh on Saturday, March 30.
Youngsters must have had at least two Young Driver lessons to attend.
The company conducted research with 1,000 UK motorists which revealed that many drivers on our roads are nervous about driving on motorways.
Motorway driving is not currently a legal requirement of learning to drive in the UK, although since June 2018, qualified instructors can take learners for lessons on motorways if they choose to do so.
