Thornbury children are at risk of criminal and sexual exploitation according to warnings put out by the police.
Two messages written on Thornbury Police's Twitter account have warned of the dangers, with one stating: 'child exploitation is happening and children in the area are at risk'.
Another message said: "Children in the area are at risk of exploitation, both criminal & sexual."
Thornbury police are holding a free event at the St Mary Centre from 11am-2pm on Thursday, February 21 to allow people to learn about the dangers.
Information about child exploitation, county lines and trafficking will be available.
