Drivers can expect delays of over 30 minutes this morning due to planned roadworks overrunning
Drivers are reporting long delays and huge tailbacks this morning after planned roadworks overran, leaving a slip road and two lanes of the M4 closed.
Five mile queues have been reported on the M4 Eastbound at J15 A346 Marlborough Road (Swindon East).
Additionally there is congestion to just after J16 (Swindon West), and back to the White Hart Roundabout on the A419.
Delays on the A419 are expected to gradually clear now that the junction 15 sliproad has reopened, however highways officers advise that delays may remain in place for some time.
Highways crews remain at the scene on the M4 working to clear closures on the main carriageways.
