Police are warning Kemble residents of reports they have received of men going door to door offering security services.

Between 5pm and 7pm on Tuesday, February 12, two males were reportedly going door to door claiming to be selling ADT Alarms.

The two man were seen in a blue Peugeot estate driving around the village.

They were also seen looking around different properties.

Police are offering advice so residents can distinguish between a real employee and a fake employee.

A spokesperson said: "The Lanyard should have an ID card attached.

"The card should have the person’s name and photo on it.

"We would ask all People living and working in the Kemble area to be on their guard and report suspicious activity to police.

"If you have elderly friends and neighbours please make them aware of this as well.

"If a crime is in progress call 999."
