Following on from a successful UK tour, The Importance of Being Earnest is coming to the Barn Theatre in Cirencester.

And thanks to the generosity of the team they have kindly provided our readers with the opportunity to win a family ticket to see the show.

It’s Oscar Wilde’s classic as you’ve never seen it before!

This hilarious, two-man re-imagining of the classic will delight and entertain in equal measure.

Already recognised as one of the UK’s funniest plays, this ingenious, riotous, re-telling of the story has two incredibly talented actors playing every single character.

Rapid quick-changes, tap dancing, fabulous frocks and enough tea to sink a ship, audiences are in for a wildly waggish time.

Artistic director of the Barn Theatre Iwan Lewis said: “I saw this hilarious production of this timeless classic last year as it toured the country and was determined to get it to the Barn.

“I know that this will be something that our audiences will love!”

The production will run from Monday, March 11 to Saturday, March 16.

To be in with a chance to win a family ticket (two adults and two children) to see the show, send the answer to the following question to news@wiltsglosstandard.co.uk. Entries must be received by midnight, Thursday, February 28.

Question: The Importance of Being Earnest playwright Oscar Wilde was famous for writing just one novel. What is the title?

A winner will be chosen at random and announced shortly after the closing date.
