A target date to decide on the applications put forward by two budget supermarket chains for a new store in Malmesbury has been announced.
Wiltshire Council's Northern Area Planning Committee will decide on the applications put forward by Lidl and Aldi at a meeting next month.
The committee have the power to reject both applications, permit just one of the applications, or permit both.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 6, at 3pm in the council chamber at Monkton Park, Chippenham.
