File picture: The A419 is closed in both directions this morning
The A419 has reopened this morning after initially being closed while emergency repairs are completed on a damaged gas main.
The dual carriageway was closed in both directions between the B4040 (Cricklade) and the B4019 (A4311) near Blunsdon due to a damaged gas main and resulting gas leak.
However both lanes have now re-opened.
There are still long delays for motorists, with reports of delays up to an hour.
