Drivers are experiencing considerable delays on the M4 in Wiltshire this morning due to a crash.
The accident, which is reported to have happened just after 5am this morning, initially saw two lanes closed in the westbound direction near junction 16 of the motorway.
Lane closures were put in place to allow traffic officers to remove debris from the carriageway.
At 6.30am this morning Highways England announced that one lane had been reopened between the junction 16, A3102 Swindon Road (Swindon West) and junction A350 (Chippenham).
Commuters can expect queuing traffic over around two miles at present.
