Two people have been taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital this morning after a crash on the M5 between three cars, a van and a lorry.

They are being treated for minor injuries, police say, following the accident at 8am between junctions 12 and 11a of the motorway.

Drivers faced delays of over an hour, with queues of over 6 miles long.

Witnesses say that at least 10 emergency vehicles attended the scene.
