Falcons could be seen swooping around Thornbury Castle this afternoon (Tuesday, January 22).
The display was put on by expert falconer Michael Davie who regularly holds events with owls, hawks, falcons and other birds of prey.
To find out more about him go to falconry-displays.com/index.html.
Falconry displays are regularly held at Thornbury Castle, a venue once owned and visited by Henry VIII.
Hotel guests are able to take part in the activity (for an additional charge).
