Somebody has begun reviewing toilets in Stroud.
Touch-free soap dispensers and unsettling stains are among the lavatory likes and dislikes of a mysterious account - toiletsofstroud - that appeared on Twitter at the end of last year.
"Style and panache can be glimpsed almost everywhere," toiletsofstroud posted in December in admiration of a stack of toilet roll at an unknown loo.

"Fine design," the account tweeted after a Christmas Eve trip to the urinals in Quedgeley's KFC.

Toiletsofstroud, which has not yet revealed its identity, has also started rating toilets out of ten.
Top so far have been the toilets in Stroud's cinema.
"Strong GOJO LTX-12 presence at stylish Stroud Vue Cinema. 1200ml capacity touch-free soap dispenser in black and chrome finish."
"Clean and bright loos. 8/10. #WorthTheEntranceFeeAlone."

Its reviews have not gone unnoticed.
A less than positive rating for both the ladies and gents in the Old Nelson - "both of these loos could do with some strong enhancement" - drew the response of the pub's owner, Premier Inn.
"We're sorry that you aren't happy with the bathrooms," the hotel chain tweeted back, asking if toiletsofstroud had let the team know about its issues - it had not, claiming the issues were "of long-term neglect, not 'on the evening' mess."
We're sorry that you aren't happy with the bathrooms at the restaurant, can we please ask if you spoke to the restaurant/hotel team regarding this? James

Toiletsofstroud has also taken on council toilets, describing the Bedford Street toilets as a "grisly affair" and giving the Subscription Room loos a 4.5 out of 10.
In response to the Sub Rooms review, Stroud District Council has responded by stressing it can not monitor toilets continuously and has asked residents to report any concerns to Ebley Mill.

The account did praise the fact that the council-owned leisure centre in Stratford Park has baby changing facilities in the men's room.
"Where are the others? #LetDadsChangeNappies."
