Kerbside recycling may be left uncollected tomorrow if wintry showers and cold temperatures arrive as forecast.
The latest forecast from the Met Office shows that a mix of wintry showers and cold temperatures are set to hit the Cotswolds overnight and into tomorrow, Thursday January 17.
It's thought that the tumbling temperatures will bring a general risk of slippery conditions and possibly black ice on roads and pavements across the district.
A council update says that this may lead to a delay in the planned collection of kerbside recycling and waste on Thursday.
Residents expecting a collection on that day should leave their bins and containers at the kerbside as normal, ensuring that they are in place by 7 am.
Ubico Ltd will endeavour to pick up everything as usual; should there be a delay, please continue to leave uncollected items at the kerb.
At present, there appears to be a much smaller risk of black ice developing overnight on Thursday, January 17, although the cold weather is expected to continue into Friday.
