A man is in hospital after a fight broke out between two groups in the early hours of the morning.

The brawl took place outside of Reva Nightclub in Cirencester at around 4.00am in the morning.

Police were called and in a statement revealed they are now looking for witnesses.

In a statement Cotswold Police said: "We're appealing for witnesses to an assault which took place near to Reva Nightclub in Cirencester during the early hours of this morning.

"It’s believed that an altercation broke out between two groups of men who were in the Brewery car park near Subway at around 3.40am.

"This resulted in a man sustaining a wound to his face. He has since been taken to John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford for treatment.
