OVER the Christmas period, one of the most rewarding functions for Tetbury Councillor and Deputy Mayor Kevin Painter, standing in as acting Mayor for Cllr Sandra Ball, was the annual festive visit to many of town's homes, as well as clubs and facilities for the retired and senior citizens.
Cllr Painter was joined on some of the visits by County Councillor Stephen Hirst and Town Clerk Stephen Holly.
Many, who are unable to get out as much as they used to, enjoyed the visits as well as the presentation of chocolates and bottles of wine to help celebrate Christmas.
Cllr Painter said: "Many of these are the people who built our wonderful town and they will always be part of our town's memories."
