Police are stepping up their investigation after a man was stabbed in Gloucester yesterday (Saturday, January 5).
The victim remains in a serious condition in hospital following the assault.
Police were called to Stratton Road at 2.15pm and a man in his 20s was found with stab wounds and head injuries.
They are now appealing for information and dashcam footage.
Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Barton Street, Stratton Road, Ryecroft Street or Upton Street at around 2pm yesterday.
Police are also keen to hear from anyone who was in the area in a vehicle with a dashcam around this time.
