THE climate change protester at Wallbridge Green set up camp some weeks ago.

Whilst I understand that this person's laudable aim is to draw attention to the dangers of climate change, he has made his point, albeit in a misspelt manner, and it is now time to clean up this prominent public space and return it to the people of Stroud.

The scruffy site and the graffiti covered traffic bollards have now become the source of much negative comment from people walking past and is a terrible advertisement for the image of Stroud and its tourist trade.

Surely now is the time for this public space to be tidied up by the relevant organisations who need to work together and take firm action to remove this eyesore.

Point made but enough is enough.
