PERRY Bishop and Chambers are once again pleased to be able to do their bit in the run up to Christmas to help those less fortunate in the communities they serve.
An advent basket has been set up in each of their branches and they welcome donations of non-perishable foods – including jarred, dried and tinned items – for their local foodbank.
These will be delivered in to Cirencester, Stroud, Nailsworth and Tetbury Foodbanks respectively on Friday, December 21.
Gloucestershire’s Foodbanks are part of the The Trussell Trust’s network of 428 foodbanks, working to tackle food poverty and hunger in local communities across the UK.
“We are really pleased to be supporting this great local cause,” says Managing Director Phillip Bishop.
“It’s very important to spare a thought for those less fortunate in our community, particularly at this time of year, and we hope to get as many donations as possible.”
If you would like make a donation please drop it in to either their Cirencester branch on Silver Street, their Stroud branch on London Road, their Nailsworth branch on Fountain Street or their Tetbury branch on Church Street.
