CREATIVE pupils from St Lawrence School in Lechlade took part in a Christmas lantern making competition, organised by the Lechlade Christmas Lights Committee, Margaret Hing writes.
Judging was tough but the Mayor Gary Holland and committee chair Anna Woodard were delighted to announce the successful crafters and present prizes this week.
The overall winners were Nisha Sandhu ( key stage 1) and Eva Cinnamond (key stage 2).
The runners up were Year 2 Hannah Chamberlain, Year 3 Max Musson, Year 4 Emily Hooper and Year 5 Harry Marsh.
The winners will be turning on the lights in the town tonight (Saturday, December 1) at 6pm.
