The Cotswolds was hit by an autumn snow flurry today.
It appeared to catch the weather forecasters by surprise. The Met Office's regional forecast said: "Earlier in the year, the Beast from the East brought widespread snowfall and freezing temperatures.
"It's cold this week with easterly winds, but this is a tame beast!
"Any snow has mainly been over higher ground, and it's not as cold."
There didn't seem to be the story here, though, where snow briefly brought wintry scenes to the Cotswolds.
