A COUPLE who run a Wotton cafe are joining in a charity appeal to help make sure no child goes without on Christmas morning.

Carol Anne Marsh and Daniel Rooney of Wotton Coffee Shop are inviting people to drop off donations for the Salvation Army Christmas at their cafe, on Long Street.

Every year the Salvation Army relies on the generosity of the public to donate new gifts and toys for children and young people who otherwise would have little or nothing on Christmas morning.

All the toys, gifts collected in the appeal will be distributed to needy children living in the Gloucester area.

The toy appeal gives to children aged from birth to 16 years.

Festive food items are also required which can be put into hampers, such as jars of mincemeat, cakes, biscuits, sweets and selection boxes.

Those wanting to get involved can head to Wotton Coffee Shop with their donation by Monday, December 3.
