DAGLINGWORTH village is preparing to welcome the Children in Need Rickshaw Challenge riders as they pass through the village tomorrow morning.
A team of six young people, all of whom have been supported by BBC Children in Need-funded projects, have been joined by The One Show’s Matt Baker on the eight day challenge, which
The Rickshaw will be passing though the Cotswolds tomorrow, arriving in Cirencester at 9am and expected in Daglingworth from around 9.30am.
Clerk to Daglingworth Parish Council, Jan Seymour, is busy putting out signs around the willage to welcome the children.
"There will be one for each of the children as they pass along the lanes," she said. "I hope we get a good turn -out."
Since 2011, The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge has raised over £21 million for BBC Children in Need, with every penny going on to make a difference to the lives of children and young people across the UK who need it most.
