The inspiration, imagination and precision of our talented skilled troops of 55 Squadron, Royal Logistics Corps, South Cerney and the Air Force Cadets and the ever amazing Barn Theatre team headed up by Iwan Lewis.
Daisy May Cooper and “Sluggs" who gave freely of their time and added a wonderful element of local humour and pizzazz!
And the community joining in wholeheartedly, despite a few boring waits especially for children who were so beautifully behaved and a few logistical hiccups due a small team coping with the sheer level of people arriving to take part. (Apologies to anyone who came later than 2.15pm when the ponchos had run out).
A great triumph for the present generations of Cirencester and environs who came together in such a way to honour that patriotic loyal generation of The Cotswolds who gave of their lives that we might live.
We did it!
