OUR trusted servants (CDC) have let us down – again!
Save Our Cirencester have had a Freedom of Information request concerning the Bathurst development refused by CDC with a somewhat conflicting explanation by Susan Gargett, Interim Head of CDC Legal Services.
This FOI Act ensures transparency and prevents select groups of individuals making unlawful undemocratic decisions without the consent of the public – that’s what it is all about, or so I thought!
It has cost in excess of £30,000 on legal advice/views when the views and opinions of the people who funded this little episode are ignored.
Cirencester deserves better than this.
