A SPATE of shed break-ins in the Cotswolds has prompted a police warning.

In the past month, police say there has been a number of sheds that have been broken into.

If you have a shed and store valuable items in there, police recommend that you visit reception at Cirencester Police Station.

A police spokesperson said: "At no profit they sell some clever little things there, like shed alarms, dummy CCTV cameras and other little and relatively cheap items.

"Some of these could be useful to prevent further burglaries."
