A SPECIAL DVD has been released capturing all the thrills of this summer’s Royal International Air Tattoo.

This focus of this year’s event was the RAF centenary as a crowd of 185,000 enjoyed the international celebrations.

More than 300 aircrafts representing 30 nations took part at RAF Fairford in the Cotswolds.

Among the display was the Lancaster bomber from the Battle of Britain paying tribute to the ‘Dambusters’ Squadron by flying in formation with the squadron’s current aircraft The Tornado.

Also captured was the highly popular Red Arrows and many many more.

The DVD features a number of special features providing a fascinating glimpse behind-the-scenes at the Air Tattoo.

These include a participant’s view of the airshow courtesy of the Royal Norwegian Air Force Historical Squadron, the first civilian-registered Remotely Piloted Aircraft to land in the UK having made a transatlantic crossing and more.

A Collector’s Edition is also available offering an additional two hours of action including comprehensive coverage of arrivals and departures and extended in-cockpit features giving a sense of the full display routines on board with 12 of the displays.
