A CCTV appeal has been launched by police after a business in Cricklade was burgled.

The burglary took place on October 27, at around 10.50pm at K9 Confidential business premises in Hitchin Lane .

Two men arrived in a vehicle and caused damage to the gate and door before stealing a generator, batter drill and grinder worth around £100.

They men disabled some CCTV at the premises and flashed their torches at cameras to conceal their vehicle.

PC Jordan Gratton said: “This incident has left the business owners upset and struggling to understand why anyone would target their business, causing damage to the premises for items worth very little financially.

“The burglary has caused the owners expense and a lot of inconvenience.

“We would like to reassure the local community that we take reports of this nature seriously and our enquiries are ongoing – burglaries to business premises impact on them being able to operate effectively.

“We’ve released some CCTV images of two men and a vehicle which we would like the public’s help in identifying. Although it is extremely dark, we hope someone will have some information.”
