TETBURY residents are being warned to remain vigilant after reports of a cold caller in the town.
Reports suggest two men are knocking on doors in the Romney Road area of the town selling suspected stolen foam mattresses.
At first the men say the mattress is free, and then once you become interested you will then be told that the mattress costs £199.
They are driving a Silver Toyota van registration RX18UXR.
A police spokesperson said: "If they come knocking on your door please do not answer it and ring the police.
"If you do answer the door to them please say you do not want the mattress.
"Always keep your door on a chain and always ask for ID."
