A Game of Thrones actor and a TV soap star will appear in a TV show filmed in the Cotswolds next week.

BBC hit antiques show Celebrity Antiques Road Trip returns to the screen next week and the crew will be visiting Cirencester, Tetbury and Winchcombe.

Back on screens for its eight series, the BBC Two show cameras follow famous faces as they hunt for hidden gems in a bid to make the biggest profit buying and selling antiques.

On Wednesday, November 14 at 7pm, the show will feature Game of Thrones star David Bradley and fellow actor, EastEnders’ and Downton Abbey’s Nigel Harman.

They will visit a number of towns and villages in the area including Tetbury, Cirencester and Winchcombe.

John Redshaw, series producer at STV Productions, said: “It’s always exciting to hit the road with a new set of celebrities, and this series is no exception.

"We have a brilliant line-up of competing stars going head-to-head on the antiques trail and I think viewers will love following their road trips as they track down weird and wonderful bargains in antique shops around the country.

"There is even a bit of scandal in this series with an accusation of foul play when an antique is damaged at auction by the opposing team.”

In each episode the two competing celebrities put their knowledge and bartering skills to the test as they set out in classic vintage cars to find antique bargains, before selling them at auction.

On hand to help are the show’s regular antiques experts, each paired with a celebrity, to provide guidance on the world of antiques.

The show is back on screens on Monday night (November 5) at 7pm on BBC Two.
