Businesswoman Denise O’Leary from Chippenham-based Purpol Marketing recently won the Marketing and PR category in a competition to celebrate the best female business talent from across the UK.

Purpol Marketing provides director level expertise in strategic marketing on a ‘pay as you go’ basis, making professional advice tailored and affordable.

Denise’s team are experts in all areas of marketing and specialists in PQQ and bid management on public procurement tenders, especially in the construction and manufacturing sectors. They also work with SMEs across multiple sectors.

Her talent and success was recognised at a gala final held at Tewin Bury Farm, Welwyn.

Denise said: “I am absolutely thrilled to win this national award and be selected from over 700 entrants from female entrepreneurs throughout the UK, women who are real trailblazers in their industries.

“To be judged as a winner by business experts in a rigorous process is a real accolade. The marketing category is new this year and I am delighted to be the first recipient of it.”

The awards have proved so successful that they will move to a central London location next year with nominations opening in March for the 2019 celebration.

Denise has been a chartered marketer since 2005 and has 20 years’ experience in marketing. Purpol Marketing is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire but operates throughout the UK.
