Police arrested a man in Cirencester last week after smelling cannabis in a car stopped for a mechanical fault.
Officers stopped the 21-year-old man's car after noticing a faulty light while driving on Fairfax Road.
After stopping the car, last Tuesday, October 16, PC Webb, smelt and found cannabis in the car.
The Cirencester man provided a positive roadside drug test and was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
At the station, he provided a blood specimen, that was sent off for analysis.
He has been released under investigation.
