AN EXHIBITION celebrating 15 years of quilting will be on display in Wotton under Edge this weekend.
A Creative Journey through Time features work created by the Under The Edge Quilters.
It is showing at Under the Edge Arts on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.
As well as the usual quilts and other textile items, refreshments, sales table and raffle; the highlight is the group’s ‘Hexi Quilt’.
It is made up of around 16,000 1/2 inch hexagons, which have been English paper pieced, hand stitched and hand quilted by 30 members of the group.
The quilt took two years from idea to completion.
Entry to the exhibition is free.
